Nicotinell Lozenges are a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help adults manage cravings and withdrawal symptoms when stopping smoking. How To Use
Adults aged 18 years and over: Do not chew or swallow the lozenge.
Suck one lozenge slowly when you feel the urge to smoke.
Initially, try not to use more than one lozenge every 1–2 hours. Most people use around 8–12 lozenges per day.
Only use one lozenge at a time.
Do not smoke while using Nicotinell Lozenges.
Do not exceed 30 x 1 mg lozenges or 15 x 2 mg lozenges in 24 hours.
These lozenges should be sucked slowly using the recommended technique rather than like ordinary sweets or lozenges.

Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Nicotine
Other Ingredients are maltitol (E965), sodium carbonate anhydrous, sodium hydrogen carbonate, polyacrylate, xanthan gum, colloidal anhydrous silica, levomenthol, peppermint oil, aspartame (E951), magnesium stearate.
Warnings
Do not use more than the recommended dose.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse for advice before using this product if you:
are pregnant or breastfeeding,
have ever experienced seizures (fits),
have diabetes,
are taking other medicines such as clozapine, theophylline and ropinirole,
have a stomach/duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the stomach/oesophagus,
have liver or kidney disease,
have an overactive thyroid or a tumour of the adrenal gland.
Stop using the lozenges and seek medical advice if you experience severe or persistent side effects.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
