Nicorette Lozenges
Nicorette 2mg Lozenges are a convenient nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help manage cravings and other nicotine withdrawal symptoms when you’re stopping smoking or cutting down.
The lozenge slowly dissolves in the mouth, releasing nicotine to help reduce the urge to smoke. Small and discreet, they’re easy to use throughout the day whenever cravings occur.
Available in Fruit and Icy Mint flavours, Nicorette 2mg Lozenges offer a choice of a fruity or refreshing mint taste. They are suitable for people who smoke 20 cigarettes or fewer per day and are looking for a convenient way to manage nicotine cravings while working towards stopping smoking.
How To Use
Use a Nicorette Lozenge in place of cigarettes when needed. This could be to calm your cravings while trying to quit or on those occasions where you’re unable to smoke, such as on the train, around children or at work. If you’re struggling to stop smoking, you should replace as many cigarettes as possible with the lozenge to help motivate you to quit.
For adults and children aged 12 years and over: Do not chew or swallow the lozenge.
Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow to dissolve. Use 1 lozenge when required, usually 8-12 lozenges per day.
Do not use more than 15 lozenges per day.
Nicorette Cools 2mg lozenge is used to relieve/and or prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings you get when you try to stop smoking or when cutting down the number of cigarettes you smoke.
However it can be used in a number of different ways, either to completely replace all your cigarettes, or if you do not feel ready to stop smoking completely, to replace certain cigarettes and therefore help you to cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke. It may also help increase your motivation to quit.

Coating contains: Hypromellose (methocel E3), winterfresh flavour, titanium dioxide (E171), sucralose (E955), sepifilm gloss, acesulfame potassium (E950) , polysorbate 80, purified water
Warnings
Do not use more than the recommended dose.
Do not exceed 15 lozenges in 24 hours.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
Talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse for advice before using this product if you:
are pregnant or breastfeeding,
have ever experienced seizures (fits),
have diabetes,
are taking other medicines such as clozapine, theophylline and ropinirole,
have a stomach/duodenal ulcer, inflammation of the stomach/oesophagus,
have liver or kidney disease,
have an overactive thyroid or a tumour of the adrenal gland.
Stop using the lozenges and seek medical advice if you experience severe or persistent side effects.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
