How Does Cialis Together Work?

Cialis Together contains tadalafil 10mg - a PDE-5 inhibitor. It works through the same mechanisms as original Cialis, generic tadalafil, Viagra Connect and sildenafil.

Their action is triggered by sexual stimulation or excitement. Without sexual stimulation, Cialis Together will not work.

When a patient is sexually stimulated, nerve signals help to relax blood vessels to the penis, increasing blood flow. This increased blood is held in the spongy tissues of the penis, which leads to an erection.

Can I Buy Cialis Together Without a Prescription?

Yes. Cialis together can be purchased over-the-counter. You do not need to book a GP appointment to get a prescription to purchase it.

• Nitrates & Poppers: You take nitrate medicines (e.g., GTN spray, isosorbide mononitrate) for chest pain/angina, or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrite). Combining tadalafil with nitrates causes a severe and dangerous drop in blood pressure.

• Riociguat: You take riociguat for pulmonary arterial hypertension.

• Alpha-Blockers: You take alpha-blockers (e.g., doxazosin, tamsulosin) for prostate problems or high blood pressure, unless authorized by a clinician.

• Heart & Vascular Conditions: You have severe heart disease, unstable blood pressure, or a recent history of heart attack or stroke.

• Liver Function: You have severe liver impairment.

• Eye Disorders: You have hereditary degenerative retinal disorders, such as retinitis pigmentosa, or a history of NAION.

• No ED Diagnosis: You do not experience erectile dysfunction (this medication is not intended for recreational use).

How To Take Cialis Together

For optimal results, following the instructions below:

• Take one 10mg tablet with water, at least 30 minutes before anticipated sexual activity.

• Do not take more than one tablet in any 24-hour period. Unlike tadalafil daily, Cialis Together is not intended for continuous daily use.

• Avoid excess alcohol, as this can also affect your ability to get an erection and reduce treatment effectiveness.

Unlike sildenafil, heavy or high-fat meals do not delay the onset of treatment.

How Quickly Does It Work and How Long Does It Last?

The tablets typically start to take effect within 30 to 60 minutes.

Tadalafil remains active in the body for up to 36 hours. This longer duration of action, compared to sildenafil, allows for natural spontaneity over a weekend, preventing the need to time dosing within a set window. For this reason, all tadalafil tablets are sometimes referred to as ‘the weekend pill.’

Side Effects & Precautions

As with any medication, the tablets can cause side effects though not everyone experiences them.

Common Side Effects

The most common side effects, affecting up to 1 in 10 men include:

• Headache or dizziness.

• Back pain or muscle aches

• Facial flushing or hot flushes.

• Indigestion or nausea

• Nasal Congestion

Serious Side Effects

More serious side effects and reactions include:

• An allergic reaction - swelling of the face, tongue, throat or lips with difficulty breathing.

• Sudden vision loss - partial or complete loss of sight in one or both eyes.

• Prolonged erection (Priapism) - lasting longer than 4 hours. If this occurs, go straight to A&E to prevent permanent tissue damage.
