Regaine Scalp Foam 
Regaine is available in more than one type of formulation. 
The foam can be considered more convenient to use as it is less messy to apply than the solution.
Regaine foam can be applied as part of your daily routine as it dries quickly and allows for styling your hair.
The foam for women has a higher concentration of minoxidil (5%) in comparison to the Regaine solution for women (2%).
Regaine foam is designed for women aged 18-65 years.

How to use

Regaine solution is applied directly to the scalp.

How to apply:
1. Wash and dry your hands before application
2. Ensure both the hair and scalp are dry before applying the foam
3. Hold the bottle upside down and press the nozzle to dispense the foam onto your fingers. The maximum quantity of foam dispensed should not exceed 1g (half a capful)
4. Lightly massage the foam into the affected areas of the scalp
5. Wash your hands thoroughly after the application of the solution
The foam should only be used once a day 

Side effects & Cautions


As with all medication, minoxidil can cause side effects. Common side effects include:
Itching or dermatitis 
Headache 
Unwanted non-scalp hair has been reported. It is important to thoroughly wash your hands after application to ensure the solution is not transferred to any other part of your body. If it does transfer, wash the area thoroughly with plenty of water.

Do not use Regaine foam if you:
Have sudden or patchy hair loss
Have other conditions associated with your hair loss
Have red, inflamed, infected or painful scalp, or a shaven head
Are using other medications on your scalp
Suffer from blood pressure problems
Are male
Are pregnant or breastfeeding 
Are not sure why you are losing hair – see your GP or healthcare professional
Are sensitive or allergic to any ingredients in this product
Are using any kind of dressing or bandage on your scalp 
Are under 18 or over 65 years of age 

Seek medical advice from your doctor if you have heart disease before using this product.

Ingredients


Active Ingredient: Minoxidil 5%
Inactive ingredients: Butane, butylated hydroxytoluene, cetyl alcohol, citric acid, glycerol, isobutane, lactic acid, polysorbate 60, propane, purified water, stearyl alcohol, ethanol anhydrous.

Minoxidil penetrates the root of the hair to help hair thinning, reactivate inactive follicles and also strengthens and revitalises the hair follicle to grow new and thicker hair. 

Minoxidil promotes hair growth in 4 ways:
1. Increase blood flow around the hair follicles 
2. Reverse miniaturisation of hair follicles 
3. Stimulates hair follicle movement from the resting phase to the hair growth phase
4. Extends each hair follicles growth phase
