Epimax Ointment
Epimax Ointment is an intensely hydrating, greasy emollient used to treat and manage severe dry skin conditions, eczema, and psoriasis. Formulated with a high concentration of paraffins, it creates an effective occlusive barrier over the skin surface to trap moisture, relieve redness, and prevent dehydration. It is available over the counter without a prescription and can be used as a leave-on moisturiser, a non-drying soap substitute, or a bath additive.
Intensely rich 3-in-1 ointment, soap substitute, and bath additive for very dry skin
Formulated with 80% total paraffin content to create a heavy protective barrier
Water-free and preservative-free to minimise the risk of skin stinging or irritation
Free from SLS, fragrances, parabens, and phthalates; suitable for adults and children
How To Use
Scoop out using a clean spoon to prevent tub contamination. Smooth gently onto skin following the direction of hair growth without rubbing vigorously.
Mix a small amount with warm water in your hand to form a smooth paste, apply to damp skin, and rinse off gently.
Melt a small portion in hot water first, then mix thoroughly into bath water before stepping in.
Take extra care entering and exiting the bath, as paraffin ointments leave bath and shower surfaces very slippery.
