How To Use
Regaine For Men Extra Strength Scalp Solution is intended for men aged between 18 and 65 years. For detailed directions for use, see the leaflet enclosed with the product or follow these instructions:
Ensure both the hair and scalp are completely dry before applying the solution.
Select an appropriate applicator: Choose between a pump or spray-tip applicator. The pump is best for large areas of your scalp, while the spray is perfect for small areas or under your hair.
Apply a 1ml dose of the solution to the affected areas: Six sprays or pumps will deliver a 1ml dose to the affected area.
Lightly massage the solution into your scalp: Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the solution. If the solution gets anywhere else, it could result in unwanted hair growth.
Use twice a day every day: use twice a day, leaving 12 hours between dosages.

Side Effects
Stop using it and get medical help immediately if you have:
Chest pain.
Swelling of your face, lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, especially if it affects breathing or swallowing.
Stop using it and contact your doctor if you develop:
Allergic reaction, facial swelling, redness, itching, or throat tightness.
Very low blood pressure.
Fast heartbeat or noticeable/pounding heartbeat.
Dizziness or fainting.
Swollen hands or feet or shortness of breath.
Sudden, unexplained weight gain.
Persistent redness or rash where you applied it.
Other possible side effects:
Very common: Headache.
Common: Itching or skin inflammation; unwanted hair growth, including facial hair in women.
Uncommon: Nausea.
Rare: Changes in hair texture, stop using Regaine if this happens.
Frequency unknown: Low mood, eye irritation, vomiting, scalp redness/dryness/flaking, acne-like or itchy rash, blisters, bleeding or sores.
Hair changes
Some people temporarily lose more hair during the first 2–6 weeks. This can happen as the hair-growth cycle changes.
It should settle within a couple of weeks. If the hair loss continues for more than 2 weeks, stop using it and speak to your doctor.
Changes in hair colour can occur, stop using Regaine if this happens.
Warnings
Do not exceed 2ml in one day.
Do not use more than twice a day (your hair will not re-grow any more quickly and you may risk side-effects).
Do not apply to areas of the body other than the scalp.
Do not use if you:
If you are woman.
If you are under the age of 18 or over the age of 65.
If you have ever had a bad reaction to minoxidil, ethanol, or propylene glycol.
If you are not sure if your hair loss is hereditary.
If you have hair loss caused by drug treatment.
If you have total baldness or complete loss of all body hair.
If the cause of your hair loss is unknown, or it is sudden and unexpected.
If you have high blood pressure, even if it is not being treated.
If you have any condition that affects your scalp, including sunburn and psoriasis.
If you have a shaved scalp.
If you are using creams, ointments or lotions used to treat scalp conditions.
If you have any kind of dressing or bandage on your scalp.
Unless you know that your scalp is normal and healthy.
Suffer from a problem with blood pressure
Have a red, inflamed, irritated, infected or painful scalp or shaven head.
Have a dressing or bandage on your scalp.
Are sensitive to any ingredients in this medicine
If you have heart disease(including abnormal heart rhythms or rates, angina or chest pains) and/or circulation disorders.
Regaine may cause dizziness or low blood pressure. If you experience these side effects do not drive or operate machinery.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, broken skin and sensitive areas.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources.
Avoid exposure to naked flames during use.
Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source.
Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
