Cystopurin is a convenient treatment designed to help relieve the uncomfortable symptoms of cystitis. It can help ease common symptoms such as a burning or stinging sensation when passing urine, frequent urges to urinate and general bladder discomfort. Cystopurin contains potassium citrate, which helps make the urine less acidic. This can help reduce the irritation and discomfort associated with cystitis, making symptoms easier to manage while you recover.

How To Use

Take the contents of one sachetdissolved in a small glass of cold water (200ml), three times daily for two days.

All six sachets must be taken to complete the course of treatment.

Ingredients

Active Ingredient: potassium citrate (3g).

Other ingredients: mannitol (E421), citric acid (E330), aspartame (E951), cranberry flavour (flavour contains natural cranberry extracts with maltodextrin, silicon dioxide (E551), carmine (E120) and triacetin (E1518).

Warnings

Not recommended for children under 6 years

Consult your doctor if symptoms return or persist after 48 hours of treatment.

Do not take:

if you are allergic any of the ingredients.

Speak to your doctor before taking Cystopurin if:

  • You are a man or under 18 years old.

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • You have heart or kidney problems.

  • You have dark, cloudy or bloody urine.

  • You have unusual vaginal discharge.

  • You have pain in your stomach, groin or back.

  • You have a high temperature or feel unusually tired.

  • You have phenylketonuria (PKU), as Cystopurin contains aspartame.

  • You are taking any other medicines.

Storage

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.

Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
