Vicks First Defence Nasal Spray is designed to help fight the early signs of a cold. Its nasal spray formula works in the nose to help trap and remove cold causing germs before they can develop further.

Easy to use and convenient for everyday life, Vicks First Defence can be used when you notice the first signs of a cold, helping you stay prepared during cold and flu season.

How To Use

Start using at the first sign of a cold within 24-36 hours when experiencing symptoms such as a tickle in the back of your throat or sneezing.

Keep your head upright and do not tilt it.
Insert the nozzle into one nostril.
Angle the nozzle outwards, towards your ear.
Apply 2–3 sprays into each nostril.
Avoid inhaling deeply while spraying.
Do not exceed 4 applications in 24 hours.

Use before the cold has fully developed.
Use up to 4 times a day, with at least 4 hours between applications.
Continue using for 2 days after your symptoms have gone.

Ingredients

Aqua, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (1%), Succinic Acid (1%), Disodium Succinate (0.44%), PCA (0.35%), Phenethyl Alcohol, Zinc EDTA, Zinc Acetate, Polysorbate 80, Menthol, Camphor, Sodium Saccharin, Eucalyptol.

Warnings

You may experience some temporary effects when using First Defence nasal spray, including:

Increased nasal discharge or a runny nose
Nasal discomfort
Temporary stinging

These sensations are normal, generally harmless and short-lasting. If the sensation persists, stop using the product. In some cases, temporary headache or pain in the nose, eye, ear or neck may occur. These symptoms should subside after stopping use.
