Soothe a sore throat with Strepsils Honey & Lemon Lozenges, combining effective antiseptic action with a comforting honey and lemon flavour. Each lozenge contains two mild antiseptic ingredients, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol, which help kill bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections and provide symptomatic relief from soreness and discomfort.

As the lozenge slowly dissolves in the mouth, the active ingredients are released around the area of discomfort, while the soothing action helps lubricate and calm a sore throat. The result is targeted relief from the soreness and discomfort associated with mouth and throat infections, with a pleasant honey and lemon taste.

Dosage

Adults, children over 6 years and the elderly: Take one lozenge every 2–3 hours, up to a maximum of 12 lozenges in 24 hours.

Remove one lozenge from the foil blister packaging and replace the blister in the cardboard carton.
Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly.
Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole.
This medicine is not recommended for children under 6 years.
If symptoms persist, do not improve, or get worse after 3 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine is for short-term use only.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2mg and Amylmetacresol 0.6mg

Other Ingredients: Honey, Tartaric Acid, Peppermint Oil (containing d-Limonene), Terpeneless Lemon Oil (containing Citral, d-Limonene, Geraniol and Linalool), Quinoline Yellow, Liquid Sucrose, Liquid Glucose (containing Sulphites – Sulphur Dioxide (E220) and wheat starch (containing gluten)), Potable Water.

Do not take this medicine if you:

Are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Are under 6 years old.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

Are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those bought without a prescription.
Have or have had any other throat problems.
If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding.

Storage

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
