Strepsils Extra Triple Action
Strepsils Extra Triple Action are designed to provide symptomatic relief from sore throats and the associated pain and discomfort. Its active ingredient has a mild antiseptic action, helping to kill bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections. It also works as a local anaesthetic, helping to numb the area and relieve the pain and soreness of a sore throat.

Mild antiseptic action – helps fight bacteria associated with mouth and throat infections.
Soothes and lubricates the throat – the lozenge slowly dissolves to help soothe and moisturise the affected area.
How To Use
Adults, children over 6 years, and the elderly: Take 1 lozenge every 2–3 hours.
Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
Remove one lozenge from the foil blister packaging.
Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly.
Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole.
Children under 6 years should not use this medicine, as young children may choke on lozenges.
If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, or anything unusual occurs, consult your doctor
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Hexylresorcinol 2.4mg
Other Ingredients: liquid sucrose, liquid glucose (containing wheat starch (containing gluten) and sulphites – sulphur dioxide (E220), propylene glycol (E1520)
Cherry: cherry flavour (containing benzoic acid (E210) and benzoates, citronellol and geraniol) levomenthol, carmoisine Edicol (E122).
Blackcurrant: blackcurrant flavour (d-limonene and linalool), levomenthol, carmoisine edicol (E122), patent blue V (E131).
Honey and Lemon: honey and lemon flavour (containing bergamot oil (containing bergapten), citral, citronellol, d-Limonene, farnesol, geraniol and ginalool.
Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the other ingredients.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
If your sore throat is severe, persistent, or accompanied by fever, headache, nausea, or vomiting, consult a doctor.
If symptoms do not improve or get worse, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
Do not use if you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant, or are breastfeeding, unless advised by your doctor or pharmacist.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if:
You are taking or have recently taken any other medicines.
You have or have had other throat problems.
Read the packaging and leaflet carefully before use and follow the dosage instructions.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
