Robitussin Chesty Cough is an expectorant medicine designed to help relieve chesty, mucus-filled coughs. It contains guaifenesin, which helps loosen and thin mucus in the airways, making it easier to cough up and clear your chest.

Guaifenesin helps relieve a chesty cough by:

  • Helps thin thick phlegm and mucus, making it less sticky and easier to clear from your airways.

  • Thinner mucus is easier to cough up, helping to clear your airways and relieve congestion.

  • By helping to loosen and clear mucus, it can ease the heavy, congested feeling that often comes with coughs, colds and flu.
