How To Use
  1. As an inhalant, to clear painful sinuses and relieve nasal congestion.

Using with a tissue:

Adults and children aged 12 and over:

  • Day: Add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and inhale the vapours.

  • Night: Add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and leave it inside a pillowcase to inhale throughout the night.

Children aged 2 and over:

  • Day: Add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and hold close to, but not touching, the child to allow child to breathe in vapours.

  • Night: Add 2 or 3 drops to a tissue and place in the bedroom out of the child’s reach to inhale throughout the night.

Children aged 3 months to 2 years:

  • Day: Add 1 drop to a tissue and hold close to, but not touching, the child to allow child to breathe in vapours.

  • Night: Add 1 drop to a tissue and place in the bedroom out of the child’s reach to inhale throughout the night.

Not recommended for children under 3 months.

  1. Using with hot water:

Adults and children aged 12 and over:

Day: Add 2 or 3 drops to hot water and inhale the vapours.

Night: Add 2 or 3 drops to hot water and leave in thebedroom to inhale throughout the night.

Children aged 2 and over:

Day: Add 2 or 3 drops to hot water and allow child to breathe in vapours. Or leave in the room out of the child’s reach to inhale the vapours.

Night: Add 2 or 3 drops to hot water and leave in the bedroom out of the child’s reach to inhale throughout the night.

Not recommended for children under 2 years.

  1. As a rub:

Adults and children aged 12 and over: Apply with gentle massage to the painful area three times daily.

Not recommended for children under 12 years.

Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Cajuput oil, clove oil, eucalyptus oil, juniperberry oil, levomenthol, methyl salicylate, mint oil.

Warnings
  • Do not put Olbas Oil directly into your nose or mouth. If swallowed or put into the nose by mistake, seek medical advice immediately.

  • Avoid contact with the eyes. If it gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice immediately.

  • Avoid contact with plastic and other delicate materials.

  • Close supervision is necessary with young children.

Do not use if:

  • You are allergic to any of its ingredients.

  • You have broken or damaged skin.

  • If your symptoms get worse or do not improve within 7 days, speak to your doctor.

  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, especially blood-thinning medicines such as warfarin, if you plan to use Olbas Oil on your skin.

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using Olbas Oil.


Storage

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.

Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
