Covonia Mucus Cough
Covonia Mucus Cough is a liquid medicine for the relief of chesty coughs with mucus. It helps loosen phlegm, making it easier to clear from the airways.
For adults and children aged 12 years and over
Helps clear mucus from the chest
Convenient liquid formulation
Dosage
Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls every four hours if required.
Children aged 5-12 years: Take one 5ml spoonful every four hours if required.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients: levomenthol 4mg, squill tincture 0.6ml, liquorice liquid extract 0.125ml
Other Ingredients: peppermint oil, anise oil, capsicum tincture (capsicum oleoresin, ethanol), syrup (sucrose), liquid glucose, magnesium aluminium silicate, sodium methyl, ethyl and propyl parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E219), glycerol (E422), caramel (E150c), purified water
Warnings
Do not take Covonia Mucus Cough Oral Solution if you or your child:
Are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Have a heart problem.
Have breathing problems.
Have increased pressure in the head.
Have liver or kidney problems.
Have a problem with alcohol use.
Speak to a doctor before taking it if you are:
Taking carbenoxolone for a stomach ulcer.
Taking water tablets (diuretics).
Pregnant, might be pregnant, or breastfeeding.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
