
Beechams All in One Liquid
Beechams All in One Liquid provides short-term relief from the symptoms of colds, chills and flu, particularly when accompanied by a chesty, productive cough.
It contains three active ingredients to help relieve multiple symptoms:
Paracetamol is a painkiller that helps relieve headaches, aches and pains and reduce a high temperature.
Guaifenesin is an expectorant that helps loosen phlegm and relieve a chesty cough.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that helps unblock the nose and sinuses, making it easier to breathe.
Dosage
Adults and children aged 16 years and over:
Measure 20 ml using the measuring cup provided.
Take one 20 ml dose every 4 hours as needed.
Do not take doses more frequently than every 4 hours.
Do not take more than 4 doses (80 ml) in 24 hours.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Do not use for more than 5 days without consulting your doctor.
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Paracetamol 500 mg, guaifenesin 200 mg and phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg.
Other ingredients sorbitol (non-crystallising, E 420),glycerol, ethanol (96%), propylene glycol, sodium cyclamate, acesulfame potassium, sodium citrate, xanthan gum,citric acid monohydrate, cough sweet flavour, sunset yellow FCF (E 110), patent blue V (E 131), water.
Warnings
Do not take Beechams All in One if:
You are allergic to paracetamol, guaifenesin, phenylephrine or any other ingredient.
You have liver or kidney problems, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, high blood pressure or heart disease.
You have glaucoma, phaeochromocytoma or an enlarged prostate.
You take beta blockers, tricyclic antidepressants or MAOIs (or have taken MAOIs within the last 2 weeks).
You are taking another medicine containing paracetamol, or another cold, flu, decongestant or cough medicine.
Contains paracetamol. Taking too much can cause serious liver damage. Never take more than the recommended dose.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.
This product contains 19% alcohol (ethanol) and may not be suitable for people with alcoholism, liver disease or epilepsy, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
May cause dizziness. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected.
Contains sunset yellow (E110), which may cause allergic reactions.
Contains 2 g propylene glycol and 4.7 g sorbitol per 20 ml dose.
Each 20 ml dose contains 42 mg sodium. Consider this if you are following a low-sodium diet.
If you have an intolerance to certain sugars or hereditary fructose intolerance, speak to your doctor before use.
Talk to your doctor before use if you have asthma, a chronic cough, circulation problems or Raynaud's phenomenon.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Beechams All in One if you take prescription medicines, particularly medicines for nausea, migraine, high blood pressure, depression, heart conditions, high cholesterol or blood thinning medicines such as warfarin.
Tell your doctor if you are taking flucloxacillin, as there is a rare but serious risk of metabolic acidosis, particularly if you are seriously unwell, malnourished or have severe kidney problems or chronic alcoholism.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Speak to your doctor before taking this medicine.

Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
