CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a gel to foam facial wash formulated to treat and prevent breakout-prone skin while maintaining the natural skin barrier. Containing 2% salicylic acid and essential ceramides, it gently exfoliates unclogged pores, absorbs excess surface oil, and reduces active blemishes. It is an over-the-counter skincare treatment that can be purchased directly without a prescription. For best results, use daily as the first step in your morning and evening skincare routine.

How To Use

Dispense: Wet your face with lukewarm water and pump a small amount of cleanser into your hands.
Lather & Apply: Work the gel into a gentle foam and massage smoothly onto your face in circular motions, avoiding the immediate eye area.
Rinse: Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and gently pat dry with a clean towel.
Frequency: Use twice daily, morning and night, as step 1 in your skincare regimen.

If going outside after morning use, follow up with a broad-spectrum facial sunscreen.

Avoid Contact with Eyes: Avoid direct contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately.

Sun Sensitivity: Because salicylic acid (BHA) exfoliates the skin, it may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun. Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher during the day while using this product.

Irritation & Dryness: If excessive skin dryness, peeling, or irritation develops, reduce application frequency to once daily or every other day. Discontinue use if severe irritation persists and consult a healthcare professional or pharmacist.
