Pyrocalm Control Tablets
Pyrocalm Control Tablets are designed to help relieve heartburn and acid reflux by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. They can help manage common symptoms such as a burning sensation in the chest, acid rising into the throat and discomfort associated with excess stomach acid.
Heartburn and acid reflux can occur when stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus (the tube connecting your mouth to your stomach), causing irritation and discomfort. Pyrocalm Control Tablets help control stomach acid, providing relief from these symptoms and supporting better day-to-day comfort.

Dosage
Adults and children aged 18 years and over: Take one tablet once a day.
Take preferably in the morning
Do not or chew or crush the tablet
It may take 2–3 days for your symptoms to improve. Do not take more than one tablet a day.
Stop taking the medicine when your acid reflux symptoms have completely gone
Ingredients
Active Ingredient: Omeprazole 20mg
Other Ingredients: Lactose Monohydrate, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Sodium Stearyl Fumarate, Sodium Stearate, Hypromellose Acetate Succinate, Brownish Pink Colour (which contains Propylene Glycol, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Red Iron Oxide (E172), Hypromellose and Yellow Iron Oxide (E172), Talc, Triethyl Citrate, Levomenthol, Monoethanolamine, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Sucralose and traces of Carnauba Wax.
Peppermint: Peppermint flavour, blue Colour (which contains Hypromellose, Titanium Dioxide, Triacetin and Brilliant Blue FCF (E133).
Warnings
Do not take Pyrocalm Control Tablets if you:
Are allergic to omeprazole or its ingredients.
Are allergic to similar stomach acid medicines.
Take a medicine containing nelfinavir for HIV.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you:
Have liver problems or a history of stomach ulcers.
Have difficulty swallowing or unexplained weight loss.
Have severe or ongoing stomach pain or diarrhoea.
Have had a serious skin reaction to similar medicines.
Have low vitamin B12 levels.
Do not take this medicine for more than 14 days without speaking to your doctor.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you take other medicines, especially blood thinners, clopidogrel, epilepsy medicines, HIV treatments or other medicines for stomach acid.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
