Peptac Liquid helps ease heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion by creating a protective layer that helps stop stomach acid from rising into the food pipe. Its liquid formula is ideal for managing uncomfortable symptoms, particularly after eating. Easy to take and convenient to keep at home, Peptac Liquid provides relief from acid-related discomfort when you need it.
How To Use
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime.
Children 6-12 years: Take 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime.
If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Sodium alginate 250mg, Sodium bicarbonate 133.5mg, Calcium carbonate 80mg
Warnings
Do not take Peptac Liquid if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
Peptac Liquid may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Leave at least two hours between taking Peptac Liquid and other medicines by mouth, as it may affect how some medicines work.
This is particularly important if you take:
Certain antibiotics, including tetracyclines and quinolones
Iron supplements and antifungal medicines such as ketoconazole
Digoxin, beta blockers or ACE inhibitors
Thyroid hormones or medicines for epilepsy
Medicines for pain, inflammation or autoimmune conditions
Antipsychotics and other medicines for mental health conditions
Medicines for malaria or prostate cancer
Bisphosphonates used to treat osteoporosis
Penicillamine

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the ‘EXP’ date shown on the pack.
Store below 25ºC. Protect from sunlight.
