Oilatum Cream is an emollient used in the treatment of eczema, dermatitis and dry sensitive skin; including a skin condition called ichthyosis. It will help to moisturize the skin after washing and is suitable for people allergic to lanolin.

Oilatum Cream is especially effective if applied immediately after washing, to counteract the loss of essential oils from the skin. Oilatum Ceam is suitable for adults and children.

How to use

Oilatum Cream may be used as often as required.

Apply to the affected area and rub in well.

It is especially effective after washing when the sebum content of the stratum corneum may be depleted resulting in excessive moisture loss

Side effects & Cautions

Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. and not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations.

Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time

  • Avoid contact with the eyes.
  • This preparation contains cetostearyl alcohol and potassium sorbate which may cause skin irritation.
