Preperation H ointent is used to treat the symptoms of haemorrhoids (piles) by shrinking the tissues that have been swollen by inflamation, relieve the itching of sore skin in intimate areas, and encourage skin repair. 

Preparation H ointment uses its 3 way action to help treat symptoms of haemorrhoids (piles) by soothing itches, reducing painful swelling and is quickly absorbed for fast relief. Preparation H ointment also moisturises the anal area acting as a lubricant to help ease painful bowel movements and encourages skin repair.

How to use

Before using Preparation H ointment wash and dry the affected area with a soft towel. Apply freely to the affected area after each bowel movement or whenever you feel any discomfort, dryness or itching. A nozzle is provided for hygienic application. It should be cleaned before and after every use.

Side effects & Cautions

For external and/or intrarectal use only.
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
  • Heart disease.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Thyroid disease.
  • Diabetes.
  • Difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland.
Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are presently taking a prescription
drug for high blood pressure or depression.
When using this product do not exceed the recommended daily dosage unless directed by a doctor.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
  • Bleeding occurs.
  • Condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days.
