Anusol Suppositories has a 3 way action which helps shrinking piles, relieving discomfort and soothing itches. The active ingredients work to treat symptoms of internal piles (haemorrhoids), including swelling or itching in and around your anus providing protection to raw parts of the affected area.

How to use

Before using Anusol suppositories wash and dry the affected area with a soft towel. Remove the suppository from its plastic or foil cover. Lie down on your side with your top leng bent towards your stomach, or squat down, or stand with one leg raised on a seat. Gently push the suppository, using your finger (rounded end first), into your rectum as high as it will possibly go so that it does not slip out. Insert one suppository into the anus at night, in the morning and after each evacuation.

Like any medication Anusol suppositories can have side effects such as:

Burning
Redness
Irritation
Itching
Pain
If any of these or any other side effects are experinced immedietly consult your doctor or a pharmacist.
Patients with rectal bleeding or blood in the stool should talk to their doctor before using this product as these conditions may be the symptom of a more serious underlying disorder.

This product should not be used during pregnancy and lactation unless the potential benefit of treatment to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the developing foetus or nursing infant.
