Piriton Syrup quickly relieves the signs and symptoms of:
Hayfever and other allergies, such as those to pets, house dust mites, and mold spores.
Heat rash, prickly heat, nettle rash, hives, and dermatitis.

How to use

Age: 1-2 years Dosage: One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily Maximum Daily Dose: 2 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml)
Age: 2-6 years Dosage:One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml).
Age: 6-12 years Dosage: One large 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml)
Age: Adults and Children over 12 years Dosage: Two large 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 12 large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml).

This is a medication; if your symptoms worsen, if you have a medical condition, if you're taking any other medications, or if you're considering complementary or alternative medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If you are breastfeeding, pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or have allergies, get guidance before using.

Keep any medications out of children's reach.

In the last two weeks, if you have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) prescribed for depression.
Don't consume alcohol while taking this medication.
If the syrup causes you to feel tired, or dizzy, or if your vision becomes blurry, do not drive or operate heavy machinery

Ingredients

Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient. Also includes sucrose, glycerol, ethanol and a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214 and E216). See leaflet for further advice.
