Cialis 10mg tablets contain the active ingredient 'Tadalafil' in a pack of 4 tablets.
Tadalafil is in a class of medications known as PDE5 inhibitors. This class of medications works to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. This increased blood flow can cause an erection once you are sexually aroused.
Cialis (Tadalafil) will not give you an instant erection – you must be adequately sexually aroused for it to work.
Cialis (Tadalafil) has been proven to help men with erectile dysfunction get a hard erection and maintain it for sexual intercourse.
They begin to take effect after 30-60 minutes and once one tablet has been taken, it is then effective for up to 36 hours, offering longer lasting effects in comparison to other medications on the market.
Taking Tadalafil- Some Practical tips
Get in the mood!
Tadalafil by itself will not give you a spontaneous erection – you need to have adequate sexual stimulation for it to work so engage in foreplay just as you would had you not take any Tadalafil.
Don’t rush!
Tadalafil takes about 30-60 minutes to start working, it remains effective for about 36 hours after administration so don’t rush! Remember, you must have adequate sexual stimulation.
Eat smart
You can take Tadalafil with or without food.
If taken after a meal which is high in fat you may find it takes a little longer to work. It is advised you limit your alcohol intake around the time you take your dose to ensure it remains effective.
Don’t give up
With some men Tadalafil may not work the first time you take it, this may be because of a multitude of factors.
If it doesn’t work the first time, just try again on another day – remember, its no more than one tablet in any 24 hour period.
Get help if Tadalafil still doesn’t work.
If you find after repeat doses Tadalafil is still not producing a sufficient erection get in touch with us at QuickMeds for further advice.
Sometimes there are reversible causes of erectile dysfunction which may warrant further investigation, often trying similar medications to Tadalafil can produce the desired results.
How to take
To treat erectile dysfunction The recommended starting dose is one 10 mg tablet before sexual activity. This may be increased to 20mg according to response.
