Fybogel Fibre Chews are tasty, citrus flavoured, chewable tablets used for constipation relief and to help maintain regularity of your bowel movements. It works naturally with your body to treat constapation without undue straining, discomfort or unnatural urgency, by incresing your fibre intake. A lack of fibre in the diet is one of the main causes of bowel irregularity, Fybogel Fibre Chews helps you to restore and maintain regularity.

The active ingredient, Fibersol (a type of fibre), helps you to get back to regularity for constipation, by retaining water in the stool, and may also help to bulk-up stools, making them easier to pass.

Suitable for adults and children over the age of 12.

How to use

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 
  • Three tablets in the morning, and Three tablets in the evening, a total of 6 tablets per day. 
  • The tablets should be chewed or allowed to dissolve in the mouth and therefore swallowed. 
  • After taking the tablets it is possible to drink water or other drinks (e.g. fruit juice). 
  • Do not take more than 6 tablets a day.

Side effects & Cautions

Seek emergency medical attention if you notice any signs of a severe allergic reaction or symptoms of which include: 
  • Swelling of the face and throat. 
  • Skin rash.
  • Breathing difficulties.
  • Loss of consciousness.
Other potential side effects include: 
  • Abdominal swelling.
  • Flatulence.
  • Diarrhoea (if taken in excessive doses).
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you must ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking Fybogel Fibre Chews.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not take this product if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients. 
Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Fibersol-2 soluble fibre (1g per tablet), 
Other ingredients: Sorbitol, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, hydroxypropyl cellulose, magnesium stearate, citric acid, corn starch, citrus flavour, silicon dioxide, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, aspartame.

Each chewable tablet weighs 2.75g and contains 1g of soluble fibre.
